Size Guide

Each Aven Lore piece is cut a little differently — some run roomy and structured, others sit closer to the body. The most accurate measurements live on each product page, where you'll find a size chart specific to that style.

This page is a starting point: how to measure yourself, what the size labels mean across our range, and how to think about fit.

How to Measure

You'll need a soft measuring tape, a well-fitting shirt or hoodie you already own, and a few minutes.

Chest. Lay a shirt flat. Measure straight across the chest from underarm to underarm, then double the number.

Length. From the highest point of the shoulder seam (where it meets the neck) straight down to the bottom hem.

Shoulder. From the outer edge of one shoulder seam, straight across the back, to the outer edge of the other.

Sleeve. From the shoulder seam down to the cuff.

Fit Philosophy

Most of our pieces run true to size with a slightly relaxed fit. A few notes:

  • Heavyweight pieces (400 GSM and above) are cut intentionally oversized. If you prefer a closer fit, size down one.
  • Coordinates crewnecks and tees run true to size with a classic cut.
  • Silk kimonos are cut generously in a mid-length silhouette. One size fits most XS–XL.
  • Heavy Blend crewnecks run true to size; most customers stay with their usual.

Between Sizes?

We recommend sizing up. Our heavier pieces are made to layer, and a little room reads better than a too-tight fit.
